Love this!!
On Thursday, April 23rd, Gracia officially became a farmer’s daughter. We went to the courthouse and had a judge say, “yes, she’s yours.” Then we went to Friendly’s for our African Queen’s first sundae. We ran into Auntie Candy and Auntie Marsha at Friendly’s. Candy has played a role in both kids’ adoptions. She sent us the info about Gracia. It was so special to run into her on this grand day!
We didn’t need a judge or a piece of paper to know you are ours! But what a wonderful day it was!!

Gracia was flashing her new teeth just before I took this picture. I missed her smile. I’ll get her smiling one of these times!

Our little beauty has come a long way since she came home. She is now eating more solid foods, crawling (started Christmas day), and she is sitting up on her own. No teeth yet.
We’re excited to see what 2009 holds for her. We’re hoping she is walking by or soon after her birthday in February. She’s a quick one!
Happy New Year from the Schoff Family Four+!

We love these healthy legs! Gracia is a happy, content baby girl. She’s grown so much already. She’s rolling and moving all over the place. No crawling yet. But she’s pulling herself around. She’s now eating baby food. And she gets a kick out of the kitties and giggles at them.
Gracia loves her brother. She just watches him and laughs.
Things are going good here. I’m still adjusting to having two and getting the housework finished. But I’ll work it all out.
We’re really looking forward to the holidays again this year. Mostly, we’re looking forward to lots of family time. We’re excited for our friends and family to meet Gracia and spend time with both of the kids.
I feel like I’m living a dream. Well, I guess I am.
