Happy Mother’s Day

Filed under: Uncategorized — schoffield @ 9:04 pm

I’m a day late. But today we received a beautiful picture of you. We are getting more and more excited. We know that your future is in God’s hands.

I had a chat with Mr. McKenzie last week. He says you are growing and healthy. Apparently, you are allergic to cow’s milk so you are now drinking soy milk. You sleep thru the night and like to sleep and eat all day. He says you like to keep your belly full. You are sleeping in Mr. & Mrs. McKenzie’s bedroom so they can keep a good eye on you at night.

This past Saturday, mommy and daddy were fingerprinted. Next week we will have a meeting to have our homestudy updated. At that point, the countdown to bring you home will begin. As soon as the homestudy is updated, it will go to CIS for approval. As soon as our application is approved, we’ll be on our way to you.

We haven’t decided on your name yet. Hopefully we’ll do that soon. And I can’t wait to start working on your room and going thru your clothes. You already have WAY too many clothes!

I will have fun shopping for you too. But I will wait until its time for you to come home. Some things you need include hair bows/clips, etc., shoes, socks, a big girl car seat, a crib–to start.

Let the lists begin…

  1. Aunt Carol is very happy you will be my neice. You are such a precious little baby. You have a wonderful brother, Jonah. He will help you as you grow up. Your mommy and daddy are really wonderful parents and you will be very happy with your new family. You have lots and lots of animals to love just like your mommy does. I am anxious to see you and hold you. You will have so much fun. Love you already. Aunt Carol
